Bonnie, one of my new ex-battery hens, decided that today was the day to be very brave indeed: She came and ate corn out of my hand for the very first time. Her little pal Ginger watched on in amazement, she’s more nervous than Bonnie, but I’ve a feeling it won’t be long before she’s joining in.
